McCider Katulukira
Grants Manager
McCider Katulukira is the current Grants Manager with twenty (20) years’ experience in management, business, and finance. He is a seasoned Consultant, and Trainer with a proven track record of organization management.
McCider is very passionate about providing management services in change management and governance to institutions. Apart from his vast experience in financial management and accounting, he is a specialist in business and finance strategy formulation and implementation. McCider has worked with highly reputable institutions, both as a full time employee and consultant. Some institutions he has worked with include Development of Malawian Enterprises Trust (DEMAT) as General Manager; Small and Medium Enterprise Development Institute (SMEDI) as Director of Finance and Administration; Malawi Liverpool Wellcome Trust (MLWT) as Finance Manager among others. He has also ran a private consulting firm called TT Business and Finance. His experience has helped him to acquire strong organizational and analytical skills and ability to set priorities and demonstrate professional independence among other attributes. He is a multi-skilled, multi-faceted and experienced leader who is able to bring a fresh perspective to existing operations, and lead diverse and multifunctional teams towards achieving successful results.
McCider currently serves in different boards including of Malawi Energy Regulatory Authority (MERA), Malawi Assemblies of God Press Limited (AGP); Shire Valley Cane Growers Trust (SVCGT). Previously, he also served in several other boards both in public and private sector.
He is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA); a holder of Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Malawi; and a Certified Public Accountant in Malawi (CPA).
As Grants Manager for TRUE, he heads the Grants and Finance Unit in maintaining grant compliance and reporting, including outcome measurement and grant budgets, taking responsibility for meeting high standards of effectiveness, timeliness, and completeness.
