Justina Kaunda Kumala is the Data Manager at the Training and Research Unit of Excellence (TRUE), Malawi. She holds an MSc in Epidemiology (Biostatistics) from the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa, and a BSc in Statistics and Mathematics from the University of Malawi. With over eight years of experience in epidemiology, biostatistics, and research data management, she has contributed to the design, implementation, and analysis of clinical trials and public health research studies in Malawi and beyond. Her expertise includes database development, statistical analysis, data quality assurance, and research capacity strengthening. Justina has co-authored several peer-reviewed publications in leading international journals and has experience providing statistical training and support to researchers and health professionals. Her research interests include maternal and child health, clinical trials, and the application of data science to improve public health outcomes.
