Start and End dates: 2017 to 2022
Source of Funding: Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation ($20,000)
This is a qualitative study aimed at exploring opinions, identifying experiences, and describing perspectives on the acceptability and feasibility of IV iron to treat anemia in pregnancy. It involves interviewing women who have received IV iron (as part of the REVAMP trial) and also health workers in order to provide information that would be relevant for policymakers during scaling up of this health intervention.
