Mrs Natasha Nsamala is the Chief Executive Officer of Malawi Blood Transfusion Service (MBTS), a position she has held since 2009. She started her career as an auditor with Deloitte in Malawi and went on to work in the banking sector in Malawi, Zimbabwe and Zambia working for the African Banking Corporation and its subsidiaries before joining the MBTS.
Natasha holds bachelor’s degree in accountancy from the University of Malawi. She is a chartered accountant with over 18 years post qualification experience. She is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and a member of Institute of Chartered Accountants in Malawi
Natasha is Director on the board of NICO Holdings Plc, Malawi, the Africa Society for Blood Transfusion and Ubuntu Ltd. She is an Advisor on the board of the National Smallholder Farmers Association of Malawi (NASFAM) and a member of the Finance, Audit, Risk and Human Resource Committee of the Malawi National Planning Commission.
Natasha and her husband Terence, own and manage J and J Nsamala Trust which has investments in real estate, fixed income securities and stocks listed on the Malawi Stock Exchange. They are both ardent investors having significantly grown their portfolio since the early 2000’s.
